Like the puffin/fisher-man, the owl and the teacher work so well as an amalgam that i wont waste any time trying out owl heads on other professions, although this marriage of anthropomorphism is common the owl in children's books is always a teacher of some sort or the other, "wise old owl" and so forth, im going to stick with the common characterization, but maybe stretch it a little further, i like having the teacher owls head turned 180' so she is writing on the board and keeping an eye on the class, (a skill i think most teachers would love), im also going to change the children from humans or owls to the mice or shrews that an owl would prey on in the wild, giving that teacher/pupil fear relationship, a visual marker.
(Please note I correctly spelt anthropomorphism on the first try..... boo ya!)

Robot Colour Tests
One of the first designs ive done for the robot figure, its basically gort, which is not going to work, I need to be more original, I decided to go a head with the colour test anyway, even though ive already dropped this character, I really like the bronze/copper effect very cheesy, harks back to the 80's Flash Gordon film.
